What counts as a "provider"?
A provider is any dentist or hygienist who records patient visits with AI Scribe. Your front desk staff, assistants, and office manager can all access the dashboard, huddle, and Open Chairs without counting toward your provider limit.
What does "per location" mean?
Each office location signs up for its own account. If you have three offices, each one gets its own login, schedule, notes, and team. After onboarding, you can link locations together so they share the same AI Wingman and booking page — perfect for multi-location practices with one website.
What's the difference between monthly and yearly?
Yearly plans are paid once annually at the listed rate — that works out to 10 months' cost for 12 months of service (two months free). Yearly plans also come with a 30-day money-back guarantee. Monthly plans bill every 30 days and you can cancel anytime.
Do I need to install any software?
No. Dental Elephant runs entirely in your browser. Log in from any computer in the office. No downloads, no IT department needed.
Does it work with my dental software?
Yes. Dental Elephant works with Open Dental, Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Curve Hero, and any other PMS. You just screenshot your schedule — we read it with AI.
What about HIPAA compliance?
We require a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) before activating full-feature access. Audio is processed and immediately discarded — we never store recordings. Notes are encrypted at rest.
Can I upgrade later if I hire an associate?
Yes — upgrade from Solo to Practice or Group anytime from your account settings. You'll be prorated for the remainder of your billing period.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Monthly plans can be cancelled anytime from your account — no contracts, no cancellation fees. Yearly plans are covered by our 30-day money-back guarantee; after that, they run for the full year you paid for and then renew unless you cancel.
